This is my first dgital SLR, but I have owned and used Pentax cameras for fun and work. They have always been reliable and I have lenses from prior cameras that sealed the sale. I have used the optio 20 and was very impressed with the color and clarity. I have not been disappointed with the K2000 as it has great color rendition. I have used this camera in my work and at home and frequently use the flash. It rarely results in a bright spot, usually only on highly reflective settings. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone with Pentax lenses or a beginner in the digital SLR field.
