Pros: Its a nice camera, very good zoom. The look-through lense is impossible to use, its very hard to see. Just use the huge LCD. After using it I wished I had waited and got the Rebel eos, but good for general picture taking.
Cons: Have not found a way to save images in RAW format, only precompressed jpegs. I am told RAW is better and I dont believe this camera supports it.
Other Thoughts: This is my first prosumer camera, upgrading from point-and-shoot, so the shutterspeed and other settings are a bit new to me.

Pros: Flip screen, hotshoe, AA batteries, 20X zoom, very well built, macro, comfortable to use
Cons: No memory supplied, no way to attach filters, very poor zoom
Other Thoughts: Since the majority of pictures most of us take require a flash it seems that Canon would have put a little more into the built in flash – My reason for only 4 eggs. The camera does have a hotshoe so the problem is one that can be corrected with a little extra cash. Otherwise I would consider this camera to be nearly the perfect mid-priced point and shoot digital camera

Well, this camera does what it is suppose to do. I point and click and it takes a picture. There are great features. I can manually choose the quality and the type of picture or there is a pretty extensive automatic setting that will assess the environment and take the “best calculated picture.” I can’t wait to use the firework setting but I am going to have to wait till the fourth of July. The camera is sporty, looks nice and easy to use. It was hard to me to put a piece of electronics in water but when I took a picture in the sink the underwater quality was great. Now I do not have to worry about someone spilling water on my camera :). For the price, this camera is worth it. The electronic feathers are standard for the price but the underwater ability makes it the cheapest underwater camera.
